The Staff of Saruman

Officially Licensed Adult Collectible Reproduction

With over 100 million copies sold in over 40 languages , millions have grown up with "The Lord of the Rings" , the classic epic tale considered by millions to be the greatest fantasy-adventure story ever told. J.R.R. Tolkien's phenomenal epic trilogy chronicles the struggle between good and evil for possession of a magical ring. The book trilogy , named the most popular book of the 20th Century , is the motion picture event of the 21st Century. "The Lord of the Rings" is presented in a trilogy of feature films from New Line Cinema , "The Fellowship of the Ring" , "The Two Towers" and "The Return of the King". A work of sheer invention on a staggering scale , "The Lord of the Rings" takes us back to Middle-earth , an era that predates written history , where humans share the world with immortal elves , powerful wizards and industrious dwarves.

Saruman (also known as Saruman the White), once the head of the Council of the White, was the wisest and most powerful of that Order. Saruman had great power over Men?s minds and great skill in his hands, and he was especially knowledgeable about the lore of the Elven-rings and the devices of Sauron. He fell into darkness when he delved too deep into the study of his enemy?s ways. He became the chief adversary of the free people of Rohan. Eventually he created an army of Uruk-Hai, grotesque fighting creatures, to attack the Fellowship and gain The One Ring so he could replace Sauron as The Lord of the Rings. Saruman possessed a very powerful wizard?s staff. It was completely black with many flanges arrayed around a central crystal which resided in its crown.

This authentically detailed staff is a reproduction of the one carried by Saruman and prominently featured in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy presented by New Line Cinema. United Cutlery Brands, industry leader in fine movie reproductions, has meticulously recreated the actual prop staff using the finest grade materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality available. Close attention to quality is a top priority in every piece. This towering staff, with an overall length of 76-1/8", is constructed of solid metal and the crown cradles a leaded glass crystal ball with frosted etch pattern. Each staff is presented with an antique iron finished wall mount with embossed designs.
