The Miniature Three Musketeers Rapier Sword
by Marto of Toledo Spain
In 1622 King Luis XIII of France established the special corp of "The Musketeers", with the first Count of Treville in charge of them. This corp was formed by 100 Musketeers, one cornet, one sergeant, one lieutenant and one captain. Among them, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, known as "THE THREE MUSKETEERS", stood out due to their exploits. Together with the brave D'Artegnan, the three musketeers were the protectors of the Queen Anne, against the conspirations from the treasonous Cardinal Richelieu. The Three Musketeers Rapier Sword by Marto of Toledo Spain with cup hilt is typical of the 17th century, realized after the popular tale by Alexandre Dumas "The three musketeers", set in that time. Available in Gold, Silver or Bronze finish.
