Gonzalo Ferdinaz de Cordoba got his first victories during the Granada conquest. Later, Cordoba distinguished himself in the campaigns for Naples and Sicily. Called "The Great Captain", Gonzalo Ferdinaz de Cordoba created the army that was the base of the Spanish military power during the 16th century.
