The American Liberty Sword by Marto of Toledo Spain was created in memory of the 9/11 Twin Towers disaster and terrorist attacks of September 11th, 2001. From the top (pommel) of the sword to the tip of the blade, this exclusive sword depicts in symbols the indomitable spirit , love of freedom, liberty and justice of the American people. The pommel of the American Liberty Sword is a clear resin globe , with a scale reproduction of the Statue of Liberty encased within, held aloft by an eagle with wings spread. The hangrip depicts the American flag with the stars and stripes. The quillons of the guard are fashioned with two 24K Gold plated American eagles joined together by a ribbon with the words "E Pluribus Unum" (Out of Many, One) inscribed. The center piece of the guard features a medallion showing the "Scales of Justice" in relief. The tempered stainless steel blade is decorated with 24K Gold etchings depicting numerous historical American symbols including the Liberty Bell and American Indian and cowboy tributes. The Pirate Boarding Saber by Marto of Toledo Spain was first used by the French and English Royal Navys during the 1700's. The Boarding Sabre was later introduced as an official sabre of the U.S. Navy in 1862. This sword is a wonderful tribute to both the Sailors and Pirates of the High Seas. The Marto version of this blade features ornate engraved decorations in the pommel carved in excellent detail as well as 24K Gold etching on the highly polished blade.

The United States 1860 Federal Heavy Cavalry Saber Sword by Cold Steel
At the outbreak of the American Civil War, there were two types of sabre swords issued to the Federal Cavalry: "light" and "heavy". The light version saber sword was popular, but the heavy model, dubbed the "Old Wrist Breaker" was the one worth owning, as it was a superior weapon. Its 36" blade offered big reach advantages over most sabers, and its substantial weight gave it the leverage to easily crush bones and sever limbs or even a head with a single blow. The brass guard had three bars to protect the hand and the grip was wire bound leather and capped with a sturdy pommel. In its double ringed, steel scabbard, it could be easily attached to a saddle or to a belt.
After examining and handling a number of original 1860 Heavy Cavalry Sabers, Cold Steel decided to make their own reproduction with a few improvements. The Cold Steel blade is made from 1055 carbon steel with a hard spring temper and will pass the British Proof Test.

The Side Sword was a military sword of the 16th and 17th century Renaissance period that also achieved popularity among civilians, due to its relatively light weight and quickness. The Side Sword also had an advantage over its contemporary, the rapier sword, in having the ability to cut efficiently as well as thrust. Side swords were often the weapon of choice for sword and buckler fighting. The Paul Chen Practical Side Sword, based on a German original, is a beautifully proportioned piece that balances very well.
